The Hanse-Wissenschaftskolleg (HWK) in Delmenhorst recently announced its Call for Applications for the years 2024 through 2026. Academics and researchers are invited to apply for both Regular and Junior Fellowships.

Important: The HWK does not operate with fixed semester or academic year cohorts. Candidates for Regular Fellowships may apply for a duration between three and ten months; in case of success, fellowships can be scheduled according to the fellow’s needs and availability of accommodation. Junior Fellowships usually last ten months and may be begun according to the fellow’s needs and availability of accommodation.

Applications are welcome from researchers across all academic disciplines. Whether your expertise lies in the sciences, humanities, or arts, HWK provides a stimulating environment for interdisciplinary collaboration and scholarly pursuit.

For those interested in pursuing a Regular Fellowship, it's worth noting that eligibility extends to academics whose Ph.D. dates back more than five years. Junior Fellowships, on the other hand, are open to academics who have obtained their Ph.D. within the past five years.

For detailed information on eligibility criteria, application procedures, and fellowship categories, candidates are encouraged to visit the HWK website >
